The Harry Chapin Tribute Concert was held on what would have be Harry's 45th birthday on [[December 7]], [[1987]] at Carnegie Hall in honor of Harry being awarded the [[U.S. Congressional Gold Medal]]. This concert was also videotaped and appeared occasionally on [[PBS}]} during fund raising events in the early 1990's. The video of the concert was never released commercially. [[Gary Trudeau]] also produced a poster for this benefit concert. A CD was released in [[1990]] featuring many, but not all, of the performances.
