Dance Band on the Titanic is Harry Chapin's eighth album. The original vinyl release was a double album in a gate fold format. The album was selected as the top album of 1977 in the UK by the London Times. One disk of the vinyl album has sides 1 and 4; the other disk has sides 2 and 3. Harry's uncle, Michael Burke, did the artwork on the inside of this album.
