Sniper

This song was inspired by Texas mass murderer Charles Whitman. The Elektra September Releases promotion sampler had this description of Sniper, "An exceptionally complex lyric weaves the external details with the inner feelings of a man who climbs a tower with shotgun in hand to murder whomever comes into his range. The melody, equally intricate, chronicles the sniper's changes in mood from fear through anger to loneliness and anger. Sniper has an emotional power that will not soon be forgotten."
