Site Update LogMarch 28, 2004 - I have tried to make the discography section easier to read. Also, the compilations section has had major additions thanks to David Tupper's input. I also cleaned some images that took too long to load. The compilation listings and the sheet muisc sections now has small graphics for each of the items I have an image available for. March 11, 2004 - Major changes to the main page with new Feature Links section. Jen Chapin page updated, Other Chapin Fan Sites updated and reformatted. February 29, 2004 - Added some new compilations and song lists for some existing compilations. Lots of miscellaneous cleanup also. February 21, 2004 - The 200 bad links to now defunct sites are now removed or corrected. I also added a section on karaoke. I have also started a Favorite Link on the main page. We will see if I can keep adding things to it. February 1, 2004 - More cleanup.. All the internal links within the site now work. Some external links have gone away in the lat year; I'm cleaning them up gradually. I have also redesigned the first page to have more pertinent Chapin information. January 31, 2004 - Yes, I am still alive. I'm back working on updating the content here. Lots of folk seem to get to Any Old Kind of Day from Google and think I sell things (mainly from my compilation listings, I guess). Sorry for the confusion, I do not. Working on making that more obvious. This is just a tribute or fan site depending on your perspective. April 6, 2002 - The Chapin summer schedule is taking form with announcement of the Chapin Weekend on Nova Scotia and a show by John McMenamin. Jen Chapin also has a new CD out. February 3,2002 - ChapinFest 2002 at the Birchmere just outside Washington D.C. was fantastic. I published my comments out on eGroups. December 16, 2001 - I have split up the large discography page into seperate pages. It still needs some work. December 14, 2001 - We now have a real web address. www.AnyOldKindOfDay.com. Yippee! I have changed the Chat area to a Community area and provided a better information about getting connected to the Chapin community on the net, including chatting. December 9, 2001 - We now have a new web address. The site was down for a week due to legal debacle between AT&T and Excite at home. Sorry for the inconvenience. Search engine is also down. Check out Chapinfest 2001. I'll actually be there! And a belated Happy Birthday to Harry! October 5, 2001 - The new Chapin Family web site Harry Chapin Music was launched recently with new content provide by Sandy and Josh Chapin. Three big Chapin events are planned for October. September 9, 2001 - Why not pickup the Brooklyn Above Ground compilation titled BAG1 CD featuring Harry's daughter Jen Chapin. Every cent of the purchase price from this CD goes directly to World Hunger Year. I've also made oodles of small changes recently. Check out the Discography page for a chart of Harry's songs with albums, singles, videos and compilations, they were on; lyrics, sheet music, and midis availability; and much more. July 29, 2001 - I changed the look and feel to make the site more readable. The Events calendar has been updated with Satinwood's Chapin event, the Discography has been improved, many new links have been added throughout. Check out the 30,000 Pounds of Bananas for an interesting story, for example. July 7, 2001 - I saw Tom Chapin last month in Downers Grove, IL. He put on two family shows at The Downers Grove Heritage Festival. Each set included a Harry song. I had a chance to talk him briefly after the last set. March 3, 2001 - More updates on shows by Jen Chapin, another show by Scott Sivakoff coming up in May, and Tom Chapin returns to Downers Grove this summer! February 27, 2001 - See the Current Events section for more information about shows by Tom Chapin, Jen Chapin, and Satinwood; Cotton Patch Gospel; various incarnations of Lies and Legends show. I've also added some new compilations in Body of Work. January 27, 2001 - Current Events section updated. January 19, 2001 - Look here for some Chapin oddities.
