Cotton Patch Gospel (the play)
The musical featured some of the last songs composed by Harry. This play can still be
seen around the country in regional or local
theater. This play is available on video and cassette. The rights to
perform the play are available from Dramatic
Publishing.
Original Off Broadway Production
Cotton Patch Gospel premiered on October 21st, 1981 at Lambs
Theatre in New York City. The production opened October 21st, 1981 and ran for
193 performances. It starred Tom Key and featured the Cotton
Pickers.
