The Zinger

The Zinger was a 1976 off-Broadway futuristic rock and roll musical set in 2008 written by Harry Chapin and Sandy Chapin. The play featured young unknown cast, many of whom went on to later fame. The play premiered in the inaugural season of the Performing Arts Foundation (PAF) Playhouse in Long Island, New York. The play opened March 19, 1976.
