The Night That Made America Famous was a 1975 Broadway musical written by Harry Chapin. The musical was performed at the Ethel Barrymore Theater. The musical was based on Harry's song What Made America Famous. The digital archives of the New York Public Library have placed over a 100 pictures online from three separate sessions: December 11, 1974[1], January 30, 1975[2], February 13, 1975[3]
