The Essentials: Harry Chapin

The Essentials: Harry Chapin compilation was released in 2002 as part of the "Essential" series from Elektra. This series features similarly themed single CD compilations of what Elektra deems as the "essential" songs for a variety of artists. This is very similar the VH1 compilation release just a year earlier, with just two new different tracks.

Two versions of this CD were released. One of the two versions has the artwork backwards. One picture has Harry playing guitar left handed. He was righted handed.
