The Chapins
From The Harry Chapin Wiki
The Chapins were a musical group assembled by Tom and Steve Chapin in 1970. The band also featured Doug Walker on guitar, who would go to be Harry's lead guitarist, and long time friend Phil Forbes on drums.
They performed around the New York area, including the Bitter End. The Chapins were managed at that time by the owner of the Bitter End, Phil Colby. They were on the Epic Records label for a short while and released a couple of singles that failed to chart.
