Jac Holzman was the founder of the Elektra record label. Jac was instrumental in signing Harry to Elektra after a bidding war with Clive Davis of Columbia. Harry chose Elektra due to it's smaller size and Jac's personal commitment to be involved in the production of Harry's music.
