- 10 - Chapin Tribute Show performed by Scott Sivakoff and friends in Levittown, PA, USA. Joining Scott in the performance were Harry's band mates Ron Palmer and John Wallace and friends Dave Underwood and Susan Shaw. The proceeds from show benefited World Hunger Year.
July
- 8 - Timothy Breese and Jaime Chapin, Harry Chapin's step-daughter were married. [1]

- 30 - Heads and Tales becomes the third of four Harry Chapin albums to be certified by the RIAA Gold on this date.[1]
- 31 - Greatest Stories Live becomes the only first Harry Chapin album to be certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.[1]

- 7 - Gold Medal Collection becomes the second Harry Chapin album to be certified Platinum by the RIAA. It was also certified Gold on the also certified on this same date. [1]
