May 5 The House voted to award the Congressional Gold Medal to the family of Harry Chapin. more>
May 20 Ronald Reagan signs the proclamation awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to the family of Harry Chapin. 
July 18 Cotton Patch Gospel opened at the Woodstock, IL Opera House. It played through August 24. My wife and I saw one of the weekend performances. I still have a purple t-shirt they sold at the show.
