March Harry Chapin co-founds World Hunger Year with Bill Ayres.
April 6 The Night That Made America Famous closed.
17 On Food Day Harry performs solo at Bryant Park in NYC and at Boston Commons later in the same day.  A picture with caption were published in Billboard on May 10
July 18 Harry performs at the Schaeffer Music Festival in Central Park in NYC. Source: concert schedule on sale at eBay.
October Tiger Beat featured an article on Harry.
October 20 Harry played at Avery Fisher Hall , New York City with Janis Ian. This show is reviewed Jim Fishel in Billboard Magazine on November 8, 1975. The show was recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio program. It was broadcast on May 2, 1976.  The original radio station reel-to-reel tapes have been offered for sale on eBay.
