Cotton Patch Gospel
opens in Chicago. The newly-formed Provision
Theater Company has chosen Cotton Patch Gospel as their first production.
Their aim is to challenge, educate, and inspire by lifting up the human
spirit. The show runs weekends (Thursday to Sunday) through April

Trader's
Circle is open for business. The guys at ChapinMusic.com
have launched a new trader's section for sharing concert CDs. Read the rules
closely before you start. If you receive you are expected to give back in

Chapin's Linger is now available. Harry's daughter's new CD Linger

May 7th thru June 6, 2004 - The world premier "Harry Chapin: Remember when the Music", a new production produced by a team that had produced Lies and Legend a few years ago. It is being performed in greater Philadelphia area at the ActII Playhouse. More>>
May 14th thru June 19th, 2004 - Back by popular demand, the New Vic Theater in Kalamazoo, MI is performing Harry Chapin's Lies and Legends. (I saw the last production there about 10 years ago.) More>>
May 15th thru May 23rd, 2004 - Two weekends of Lies and Legends performances will be performed in Raleigh, NC at the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theater. More>>
May 21st thru May 23rd, 2004 - Tom Chapin and friends are performing Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song in song three times this weekend in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. See the Concert section of Tom's web site for more information.
August 13th thru -15th, 2004 - The Chapin Family Fair is held each year at the Ovens Natural Park in Nova Scotia. Click on Music on the sidebar at www.ovenspark.com for details.
Sunday Night concerts - Starting at 8pm Central Time Zone (US), Steve Gibbons hosts this an on-line meeting using Yahoo! Messenger with Scott Sivakoff and others occasionally others performing Chapin favorites over your computer. Check out Steve's site for more information. More>>
Tom Chapin concerts - Tom, Harry's brother, performs year round. His schedule for the next few months is available at www.tomchapin.com. His "family" concerts are dominated by his music targeted at the pre-teen crowd. His "Adult' concerts are primarily his folk music. Both shows often feature a Harry Chapin song. A few times a year he also performs primarily Harry's music in a show billed as Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song.

Cotton Patch Gospel performances - Over 30 performances are planned for just the first part of 2004. Dramatic Publishing, who handles the licensing rights for the play, has been kind enough to list all the performances they have licensed for current performances.
